Mannheim-based beat producer Hanses returns on August 22, 2024 with a new album that is both a tribute to the past and a bold step in a new direction. With “Optagon”, released via the Besser-Samstag label, he presents a collection of tracks that go far beyond his previous lofi hip-hop productions.

But “Optagon” is more than just an album. On the upcoming vinyl, the project is expanded with eleven remixes by various producers and brings fresh, cross-genre interpretations of the original tracks. From lofi and dub to 80s-inspired sounds - the remix versions show the versatility and creative exchange that characterizes this project.
